Rajouri, Apr 28: Security forces are conducting massive Cordon and Search Operations (CASOs) in various areas of border district Rajouri after reports of suspicious movement in areas.
The suspicious movement is reportedly linked with terror related activities.
As per officials, in an area of police station Sunderbani, suspicious movement of four to five suspects was seen by locals after which forces launched an anti terror operation . Army, Jammu and Kashmir police and Central Reserve Police Force jointly started extensive searches.
The searches, they said, was going on in areas of Sunderbani. The searches have also been launched in areas of Nowshera sub division.
The officials, however, denied to share exact details of areas where operation was launched terming it operational secrecy.
On the other hand, security forces including Army, Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF jointly launched another anti terror operation in Kotranka sub division areas of border district Rajouri after reports of suspicious movement.
Both these operations were going on when last reports were received.
