Srinagar, Nov 10: A delegation of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) J&K, led by Archit Puri, Chairman CII J&K UT Council met with Inderjeet, MD JKSIDCO.
A statement said that the meeting focused on addressing various critical issues related to industrial development and ease of doing business in the Union Territory of J&K.
During the discussions, the delegation raised concerns regarding the extension of provisional registration to industrial units under the New Policy. CII J&K UT Council also Suggested a working mechanism to be put in place between JK SIDCO, Power Department & Pollution Control Board.
In response, Inderjeet acknowledged the importance of resolving these pressing issues faced by the industrial sector. He assured that the department would take proactive steps to address these challenges faced by industries. He asked the delegation to bring to his notice any issues or concerns being faced on the ground and assured action would be taken on merit.
