Srinagar, Nov 10: The provincial president of Apni Party’s Women Wing, Dilshada Shaheen, has said that her party has a clear and unwavering agenda for the empowerment of women in Jammu and Kashmir.
She said that if the party gets a public mandate in the assembly elections, it will work towards the social, educational, economic, and political empowerment of women in J&K.
According to the press note, Shaheen was addressing a party convention held in Sangarwani, in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The convention was attended by female party workers and a significant number of women from the locality.
Dilshada Shaheen urged party workers from the Women’s Wing to increase their political activities and public outreach to further strengthen the party. She said, “One of the core objectives of our party is to ensure the well-being of women in Jammu and Kashmir, a gender that has endured significant sufferings due to the conflict situations in J&K over the years. It is of utmost importance that women are granted full access to their constitutional rights, paving the way for their empowerment. To achieve this, we need to strengthen the party’s presence in every corner of Jammu and Kashmir.”
