Srinagar, April 21: According to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar weather is expected to remain generally dry on April 22 and 23, while brief spells of thundershowers with thunder, gusty winds, and hailstorm are likely during afternoon hours on April 24 and 25.
According to the forecast light rain, thundershowers, and gusty winds at scattered places in Kashmir and isolated parts of Jammu Division on the afternoon of April 21. From April 26 to 30, dry conditions are expected across the region.
The public is advised to follow administrative and traffic advisories. Due to recent continuous rainfall, there remains a risk of landslides, shooting stones, and rockfalls in vulnerable areas. Residents are urged to remain indoors during thunder and gusty winds.
