Lt Gen Dwivedi celebrates Deepawali with soldiers in Akhnoor

Jammu, Nov 13: General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) Northern Command Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi celebrated the festival of lights- Deepawali with the army soldiers in forward areas in Akhnoor sector of Jammu district.
Army veterans, the personnel of Indian Air Force (IAF) and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) too joined the celebrations wherein the Northern Army Commander interacted with them.

On this occasion, Lt Gen Dwivedi also felicitated the achievers with Commendation Cards.

Northern Command shared this information on ‘X’ (previously called Twitter), with a splash of pics and a heart-warming video.
34-seconds video has captured Lt Gen Dwivedi wearing a genial smile, clapping and synchronising rhythmic movements with the dancing and whistling troops on a patriotic number. GOC 16 Corps and other senior officers too can be seen joining the festivity while clapping with radiating smiles. Short-clipping displayed festive ambience in its perfect splendour.
