Srinagar, Apr 23: The Meteorological department in its fresh advisory predicted brief spell of light rain and thundershower with thunder gusty winds over several parts of Kashmir division in next 1-2 hours.
Given such weather circumstances, the officials advised to suspend Shikara riding, boating in and around Dal Lake and other water bodies in the meanwhile.
“A brief spell of light rain/thundershower with thunder gusty winds over Uri, Gulmarg, Tangmarg, Srinagar, Bandipora, parts of Banihal, Dal lake & adjoining areas during next 1-2 hrs,” an official said, and added, “Suspend shikara riding/boating in & around Dal lake and other water bodies during next 1-2 hrs”.
