Kupwara, Oct 31: At least four persons died while 10 others were injured after a vehicle fell in a gorge in Nawagabra area of Karnah in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. Quoting an official, KNO reported that the vehicle skidded off and fell into a gorge, resulting in the death of four persons. He said that 10 others travelling in the vehicle also suffered injuries in the incident. “The injured are being treated at SDH Tangdhar. A case under relevant sections of law has been registered,” the official added.

Bandipora, Dec 14: A government middle school was demaged in a massive blaze in Turknaadi Turkpora village of north Kashmir's Bandipora district, officials said here on Wednesday morning. Quoting an official, news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO) reported that fire broke out in the school building at Turknaadi in the wee hours today morning. He said in the incident school building was damaged as fire tenders couldn’t reach early. The area is around 12 kilometres away from the district headquarter.
