LG Sinha Condoles Killing Of Non-Local in Pulwama

Srinagar, Oct 30: The Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha has condoled the tragic loss of life due to militant attack in Pulwama. In a message, the Lt Governor said the killing of innocent civilian Mukesh Kumar, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, will not go unpunished. In a handout, LG Sinha said, “I strongly condemn the despicable and cowardly militant attack in Pulwama. Heartfelt condolences to the family of Mukesh Kumar. He further said that we are firmly resolved to eliminate the militant menace that continues to receive encouragement and reinforcement from across the border,” the Lt Governor said.

Bhutan monks delegation on Ladakh visit to offer prayers in monasteries.

Ladakh, India, October 19: A delegation of senior monks from the Central Monastic Body of Bhutan arrived in Ladakh to visit Leh Palace and several monasteries including Thiksey, Hemis and Stagna, said a press statement from the International Buddhist Confederation (IBC) on Thursday. The delegation led by the Tshogi Lopen Sangay Khandu arrived in Delhi on October 16 for a six-day visit and then reached Ladakh. According to the press statement, during their stay, they will also interact with the Ladakh Gompa Association and Ladakh Buddhist Association and will also meet Chief Executive Councillor (CEC) Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council. Yogi govt allocates Rs 25 crore to fortify infrastructure of district hospitals

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, October 15: As part of its commitment to ensuring accessible healthcare services for the people of Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi government is working on fortifying the infrastructure of the state's hospitals. In line with the vision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a comprehensive action plan has been prepared for the enhancement and reinforcement of district hospitals across the state. The state government has approved a total of Rs 25.02 crore to upgrade eight district hospitals, including Balrampur Hospital in Lucknow in this regard. Preparations are underway for the revitalization of several healthcare facilities.
