Srinagar, May 5: Nasiruddin Ahmad Shah, one of the most respected and accomplished footballers of his time in Jammu and Kashmir, passed away on Monday morning, May 5.
Shah, who represented J&K in all major national football tournaments for over two and a half decades, was known for his dedication to the sport and for inspiring generations of footballers across the region.
He was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard in Malateng, Srinagar. A large number of people from different walks of life, including sports personalities, friends, and admirers, attended the funeral to pay their respects. His congregational Fateh Khwani will be held on Wednesday, May 7, at 10:30 am.
