3 IPS officers from Delhi transferred to J&K

Jammu, Nov 18: Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has ordered the transfers of three Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, presently posted in Delhi Police, to Jammu and Kashmir.

These IPS officers included Sukant Shailja Ballabh, presently posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) West Delhi; Krishan Kumar, presently posted as DCP Special Cell and Kamal Pal Singh Malhotra, DCP Railways.

They were among six IPS officers deployed in Delhi Police, whose transfer orders were issued by MHA in October this year.

As per an order issued by the office of the Commissioner of Police, Delhi on November 11, 2025, in pursuance of MHA’s Order No 14020/07/2021-UTS.I dated October 13, 2025 and 15041/05/2025.UTS-1 dated October 7, 2025 read-with Government of NCT of Delhi’s order No F.5/01/2021/HP-I/Estt. 3667-80 dated November 11, 2025, these IPS officers have been relieved from Delhi Police with immediate effect, except Krishan Kumar, DCP/Special Cell, whose relieving will be effective from April 1, 2026, with the direction to report to their respective outside segment.
