Jammu, Jan 25: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday announced the award of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Medal for Meritorious Service to six police officers and officials on the occasion of Republic Day, 2026.
According to a J&K government order issued by the Home Department, sanction has been accorded to the award of the J&K Police Medal for Meritorious Service to the officers and officials on the occasion of Republic Day.
Those awarded include IG Vidhi Kumar Birdi, DIG Pande Rajiv Omprakash, DIG Mubassir Latif Ameer, SSP Mushtaq Ahmad, SI Shakil Singh, and Head Constable Mohd Alyass.
