Rajouri, Feb 15: At least eight people were injured when a tempo traveller skidded off the road at Panihad village in Darhal area of Rajouri district on Saturday evening, officials said. The injured passengers, all residents of Panihad, were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, while police registered a case and started investigation.
The accident, police officials stated, took place when tempo traveller skidded off the road at Panihad on Rajouri Panihad road with eight passengers travelling in the ill-fated vehicle sustained injuries.
The injured include Mohammad Alyas (45) son of Jalal Din, Manir Hussain (60) son of Mohammad Israil, Mohammad Rafi (28) son of Mohammad Shafi, Mohanmad Younis (28) son of Ghulam Nabi, Mohammad Yousif (40) son of Ghulam Nabi, Fazal Hussain (45) son of Noor Mohammad, Shazia Akhter (17) daughter of Jahan Mohammad, Seerit Nawaz (10) daughter of Rab Nawaz, all residents of Panihad village of Darhal.
