Jammu, Aug 3: Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Sat Sharma Sunday exhorted the party cadre to make “Tiranga rallies” a resounding success.
He was addressing the one-day workshop organised by the J&K BJP unit at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, to mobilise and strategise for the upcoming ‘Tiranga Yatra’ campaign under the broader initiative of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’.
Besides, Sat Sharma, general secretary (organisation) Ashok Koul; national secretary and MLA Dr Narinder Singh; general secretaries Sanjeeta Dogra, Baldev Singh Billawaria, and Gopal Mahajan addressed the gathering.
Sat Sharma, in his keynote address, emphasised the importance of full commitment from every BJP leader and worker to ensure the success of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
Stressing upon the instructions of BJP national president JP Nadda, he urged the cadre to carry the symbol of national pride ‘Tiranga’ to every rooftop in their respective areas. He called for detailed planning and effective training of workers through workshops at various levels.
He invoked the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for active public participation, stating that August 15 should reflect a nation bathed in the colours of the Tiranga. Cautioning against those who once raised arms against patriotic citizens waving the Tiranga, he said that the campaign should also serve as a strong message of unity and strength to those safeguarding the nation.
BJP state office bearers, Morcha presidents, district convenors and co-convenors of the campaign, and other senior leaders participated in the workshop.
