Srinagar, Aug 31: Day 3 of the 2nd Edition CRPF Football Cup 2025 delivered four action-packed matches at Synthetic Football Turf, TRC Srinagar, on Sunday, with Umer Heir, Kings FC, JK Academy Eidgah, and Syed Star Hyder registering wins to set the stage for the quarterfinals starting Monday.
As per the statement issued, Umer Heir emerged victorious over Budgam Blues in a thrilling penalty shootout in Match 5 of the 2nd Edition of the CRPF Football Cup 2025. Goalkeeper Mehran of Umer Heir won POTM.
In match six, Kings FC defeated Taweed FC in a dominant performance, with Sahil of Kings FC named as POTM for his outstanding show.
In a high-scoring match number seven, JK Academy Eidgah defeated Majeed Bagh FC in a scintillating performance, with Faiz of JKA Eidgah named as POTM.
In an exciting match number eight, Syed Star Hyder defeated Sindh Valley FC in a scintillating performance. Young Umar Gul was named as POTM.
In total, day three of the event witnessed 4 gripping matches enthralling the spectators who turned up in large numbers on a pleasant Sunday.
Quarter-final matches are scheduled from Monday at the Synthetic Football Turf, TRC Srinagar.
