National Awareness Conclave marks milestone of 1 crore trees planted

New Delhi, Sep 6: The National Awareness Conclave, hosted by Positive Barta at the Constitution Club of India, celebrated the landmark achievement of planting one crore trees in a single year.

What began as an ambitious idea has grown into a nationwide movement, with farmers, students, women entrepreneurs, and volunteers contributing to the mission.

Organisers highlighted the role of women-led groups in setting up seed banks and promoting sustainable businesses, linking environmental progress with social empowerment.

Speakers at the event included policymakers, defence trainers, academics, doctors, and journalists, who stressed the importance of collective responsibility in tackling climate challenges. Youth and community volunteers were also recognised for nurturing saplings to survival.

Positive Barta announced plans to expand the Green Mission, encouraging more schools and institutions to participate. The conclave concluded with a message that every tree planted represents a promise of sustainability and a step toward a greener India.
