Pulwama, Oct 27: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) MLA from Pulwama, Waheed-ur-Rehman Para, on Monday expressed condolences over the demise of a respected woman from Murran, Pulwama, Jana Begum.
A statement of PDP issued here said that a wave of grief and sorrow swept through Murran Pulwama following the demise of Jana Begum, wife of Sonaullah Bhat, on October 24, 2025, leaving the entire area mourning her loss. The statement said that various political, social, and religious figures expressed sorrow and condolences over her demise.
It said that Para and several notable personalities conveyed heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous.
In their condolence messages, people described Jana Begum as a kind-hearted, God-fearing, and noble woman who will always be remembered for her affection, sincerity, and dedication to serving humanity.
