Amit Shah orders manhunt for culprits

New Delhi, Nov 11: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah on Tuesday ordered a manhunt of those involved in Monday’s car blast near Red Fort in which 12 persons were killed and several others were injured.

After chairing high-level security review meetings in New Delhi with senior officials of the security agencies and the Ministry of Home Affairs on the Delhi car blast incident, Home Minister Shah, in his post on the microblogging site ‘X’, said, “Chaired review meetings on the Delhi car blast with the senior officials. Instructed them to hunt down each and every culprit behind this incident. Everyone involved in this act will face the full wrath of our agencies.”

The first meeting that the Home Minister Shah chaired was attended by the Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, Director Intelligence Bureau Tapan Deka, Director General of the National Investigation Agency Sadanand Vasant Date, and Commissioner of Police of Delhi Satish Golcha.

Director General of J&K Police, Nalin Prabhat, attended the meeting virtually.

During the meeting, top officials gave detailed presentations on the situation in the aftermath of the blast, sources said.

The second meeting was attended by the Union Home Secretary, Director, Intelligence Bureau, Director General of the National Security Guards (NSG), Director General, National Investigation Agency (NIA), Director Forensic Science Services, Chief Director of Forensic Science Laboratory, Delhi, and other senior officials.
