New Delhi, Nov 26: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a Faridabad resident for allegedly harbouring terrorist Umar Un Nabi in the run-up to the Delhi car bomb blast.
The accused, identified as Soyab of Dhauj in Faridabad, Haryana, is the seventh person to be arrested in connection with the case. According to the NIA, he provided shelter and logistical support to Umar immediately before the 10 November suicide car bombing that killed several people and injured many others outside the Red Fort in the national capital.
The agency has so far arrested six other key aides of Umar during the investigation into case RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI.
The NIA said it continues to pursue multiple leads linked to the attack and has been conducting searches across several states in coordination with local police to identify and trace others involved in the conspiracy.
Efforts to unravel the entire plot behind the deadly terror strike are underway, the agency said.
