Aryans College of Law celebrates National Constitution Day

Srinagar, Nov 26: Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, near Chandigarh, celebrated National Constitution Day at its campus today, highlighting the importance of democratic values, rights and responsibilities among budding law professionals.

A statement issued here said that Dr Monika Ahuja, Professor at Punjabi University Patiala, delivered the keynote address on “Celebrating the Spirit of the Indian Constitution: Guardians of Justice and Liberty.” She underscored the Constitution’s role in safeguarding democratic principles and stressed the responsibility of youth in defending justice, equality and liberty.

Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman of Aryans Group of Colleges, said Constitution Day serves as both a celebration and a reminder of the duties citizens must uphold. He encouraged law students to deepen their understanding of constitutional values and prepare themselves to contribute effectively to the justice system.

Advocate Sukhwant Kaur, alumna and topper of Aryans College of Law, also addressed the gathering and shared her journey from the campus to the legal profession, offering guidance and motivation to students.

The event concluded with enthusiastic participation from students in debates, poster presentations and rangoli competitions held to mark the occasion.
