APS Samba flags off educational tour

Samba, Dec 6: A contingent of 160 students accompanied by 12 teachers of Army Public School, Samba departed this morning for a four-day educational tour to premier national institutions — Indian Military Academy (IMA), Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Forest Research Institute (FRI) and Vigyan Bhawan Dehradun.

“The objective of the tour is to provide students an opportunity to explore both the visible and invisible dimensions of learning at these esteemed institutions of national importance,” said a spokesperson.

The chairman, APS Samba, addressed the students before departure, motivating them to observe, learn, and imbibe the experiences gained through this exposure.

He encouraged them to enjoy the journey while maintaining discipline and a spirit of inquiry. The chairman along with Principal APS Samba flagged off the contingent of students and teachers at 6.30 am on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from the school premises.
