Srinagar, Jan 24: Authorities at Srinagar Airport on Saturday announced the cancellation of some flights arriving at and departing from the airport, largely due to a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) in force at Delhi Airport, officials said.
According to officials, most flights have been cancelled due to the NOTAM at Delhi Airport, while the remaining ones were cancelled owing to unfavourable weather conditions in Srinagar.
In a post on X, Srinagar Airport said, “Due to a NOTAM in force at Delhi Airport and unfavourable weather conditions at Srinagar, some flights to/from Srinagar Airport stand cancelled today.”
The airport authorities further advised passengers to check the latest flight status with their respective airlines before proceeding to the airport and regretted the inconvenience caused.
