Baramulla, April 16: The People’s Democratic Party is organising a “Kath Baath” programme today at Dak Bungalow in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district. According to a PDP spokesperson, the aim of the programme is to interact with people and listen to their concerns.
PDP supremo Mehbooba Mufti also took part in the programme. During the inaugural address Mehbooba said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir feel choked and isolated, and are living in an atmosphere where they cannot express their feelings and anguish.
“The aim of the programme is to listen to the people, their concerns, and their vision for the future.” she said
“We are providing this platform to the people so that they can raise their issues without any pressure or hindrance,” she added..
The event, which is currently in progress, is being attended by members of civil society, and party functionaries.
