Mirwaiz Molvi Umar Farooq has condoled the demise of Qatar’s former Emir, Father Amir Sheikh Hamaad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
“I express my deep sorrow at the passing of the Father Amir,Sheikh Hamaad bin Khalifa Al Thani. I had the privilege of meeting him during an OIC meeting in Doha, where he was gracious and generous in his hospitality towards us. He also took a keen interest in peace in South Asia and favoured engagement and dialogue as the way forward,” Mirwaiz said in a post on X.
“May Allah grant him Jannah, and grant patience and solace to @TamimBinHamaad, his family, and the people of Qatar,” he added.
