The Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organisation (JKTPO) is showcasing the Union Territory’s premium food, agriculture and horticulture products at Indus Food Ahmedabad 2026, aiming to expand global market access for local producers and strengthen export opportunities.
The three-day business-to-business (B2B) exhibition, being held from July 24 to 26 at the Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar, is organised by the Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI) under the Ministry of MSME’s Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) programme.
The event brings together stakeholders from the food processing, packaging, retail, exports and agri-food sectors, with more than 300 exhibitors, over 40 retail chains and an estimated 15,000 trade visitors expected to participate.
The Jammu and Kashmir Pavilion, located in Hall No. 2, provides a platform for MSMEs, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) and women entrepreneurs to showcase the region’s premium products to domestic and international buyers.
Among the products on display are GI-tagged Kashmiri saffron, Rajmah, Sulai (Acacia) honey and multifloral honey, besides organic honey, essential oils, medicinal herbs, ground spices, pulses, dry fruits, and dehydrated fruits and vegetables.
According to JKTPO, the exhibition offers entrepreneurs from Jammu and Kashmir an opportunity to interact with global buyers, retail chains, importers, distributors and institutional procurement agencies, helping them explore new markets and forge long-term business partnerships.
Speaking on the occasion, the Managing Director, JKTPO, said the pavilion reflects Jammu and Kashmir’s growing strength in agri-based value chains, quality production and export readiness.
“The JKTPO remains committed to enabling MSMEs, FPOs and women entrepreneurs to integrate with global markets and build a strong brand identity for J&K products worldwide,” the Managing Director said.
The organisers have invited buyers, trade delegates and visitors to the J&K Pavilion to explore the region’s premium food, agriculture and horticulture products and engage with local entrepreneurs.
