Srinagar, Jul 27: A delegation of the Jammu and Kashmir Hotels and Restaurants Association (JKHARA) on Monday visited the family of slain Head Constable Ashiq Hussain and expressed solidarity with them following his killing.
The delegation, led by JKHARA president Babar Chowdhary, comprised vice president Latif Lone, secretary general Muhammad Shafi and member Amir Kaloo.
The delegation members expressed grief over the killing and termed it “a murder of humanity”, saying that the people of Kashmir stood with the bereaved family in this hour of grief.
As a gesture of support, JKHARA offered employment to the next of kin of the deceased in the hospitality sector to help the family secure a livelihood.
The delegation also prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and expressed hope that the bereaved family would find strength to bear the irreparable loss.
