Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG-P), Jammu-Samba-Kathua (JSK) range Shridhar Patil on Monday announced to initiate a “Virtual appearance for grievance redressal” mechanism for the Police personnel.
“The DIG-P, JSK range has commenced the practice of holding an Orderly Room every Monday and Thursday at RPHQ Jammu for the redressal of genuine service-related grievances,” read the post on his official social media handles.
The initiative is aimed at facilitating aggrieved Police personnel confronting any legitimate service-related grievance as they will not be required to visit Police Headquarter to seek redress and will be able to get it resolved through virtual hearing.
