Srinagar, Aug 10: IFC Kashmir secured a hard-fought 2–1 victory over JK Police XI in an exciting Srinagar Premier League 2026 encounter at TRC Ground, Srinagar, on Monday.
The first half, as per a DFA statement, witnessed a closely contested battle, with both sides creating opportunities but failing to find the breakthrough. The teams went into the half-time interval level at 0–0.
The second half saw the intensity rise as both teams pushed forward in search of the opening goal. IFC Kashmir eventually broke the deadlock and went on to score twice during the half.
JK Police XI responded with a goal of their own and continued to push for an equaliser. However, IFC Kashmir remained composed in the closing stages and held on to secure a valuable 2–1 victory.
The result gives IFC Kashmir three important points as the competition continues to gather momentum in the Srinagar Premier League 2026.
