Srinagar, Aug 19: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDC) today announced power shutdown in different areas of Kashmir division in coming days.
In a statement issued, Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL said the shutdown of 33 KV Sharifabad-Narbal line will be observed due to which power supply to Narbal, Kawoosa, Lawaypora, Suzaith, Sanoor, Malpora, Redbugh, Railway Station Mazhama and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 02 PM on 22 August 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Khanyar line and 33 KV Bagh-i-Ali Mardan Khan-Takanwari line will be observed due to which power supply to Miskeenbagh, Rosebal, Hazaribagh, Kondebal, Hasanabad, Jogi Lanker, Palpora, Sangam, JLNM Hospital and adjoining areas will be affected from 08 AM to 11 PM on 22 & 24 August 2026.
Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Pampore-Pulwama line will be observed due to which power supply to Kakapora, Pahoo, Nehama, Newa, Gudoora, Parigam, Singo Narbal, Zadoora and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 02 PM on 20 & 22 August 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Delina-Sopore Tapline will be observed due to which power supply to Amargarh, Krankshivan, Sopore, Industries, Railway Sopore and adjoining areas will be affected from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM on 23 August 2026.
Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV LJHP Uri line will be observed due to which power supply to Mohura, Noorkhah, Gingal, Salamabad, Lalpul, Garkote, Bandi, Parampillan, Rampur, Dhani, Bijhama, Bagna, Uri, Kamalkote and adjoining areas will be affected from 08 AM to 02 PM on 24 & 27 August and 01 September 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Potushai Nadihal line will be observed due to which power supply to Ajas, SK Bala, Bazipora, Nadihal, Guroora, Argam and adjoining areas will be affected from 08 AM to 02 PM on 20 & 22 August 2026.
