Jammu, Aug 22: HOP Sawalkote Project, Satnam Singh, on Saturday called on Commander 11 Sector RR, Brigadier Ajay Pal Singh, at Ramban to discuss the prevailing security situation of project areas, touching across multiple districts.
Head of the Project (HOP), Sawalkote Hydroelectric Project, Satnam Singh, as per a statement, had a comprehensive meeting with Brigadier Singh and deliberated on matters related to security, peace and other issues in areas falling in the ambit of the project.
Brigadier Singh offered key observations on the overall scenario and highlighted initiatives of peace and brotherhood being undertaken in the region.
HOP Satnam Singh offered NHPC’s signature planter as a token of respect, with Brigadier Singh reciprocating with an equally warm gesture. The meet served as a courtesy call by Satnam Singh after he took over as the head of the ambitious 1800MW Sawalkote project, poised to be the biggest in J&K. Brigadier Singh assured utmost support to the project and outlined that the Army remains committed to the security and safety of project officials.
