The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), Kashmir, has appointed Hardeep Singh Dutta as its District Convenor for Baramulla as part of its efforts to strengthen its grassroots presence and expand its engagement with the business community across the Kashmir Valley.
The appointment was announced by PHDCCI Kashmir Chairman A.P. Vicky Shaw in the presence of Co-Chair Javaid Anim.
In his new role, Dutta will lead the Chamber’s outreach and membership initiatives in Baramulla and facilitate greater engagement with entrepreneurs, traders and industrialists in the district.
He will also work towards connecting the local business community with PHDCCI’s resources, networking opportunities and policy advocacy platforms.
Speaking on the occasion, PHDCCI Kashmir Chairman A.P. Vicky Shaw said the appointment of district convenors was an important step towards ensuring that the Chamber’s activities and services reach businesses across the region.
“PHDCCI will extend its reach to all districts of the Kashmir region with the appointment of convenors. We are dedicated to working for the economic development of all districts, ensuring inclusive opportunities for everyone,” Shaw said.
The Chamber said the initiative forms part of its broader strategy to strengthen the regional business ecosystem, support local industries, facilitate investment and promote inclusive economic development across Jammu and Kashmir.
