Anantnag, Aug 28: Anantnag Police has booked a political leader in alleged 8.25 lakh rupees job scam case, oficials said on Friday.
The officials said the accused, identified as Aabid Hussain Nengroo, has been booked in FIR No. 283/2026 registered at Police Station Anantnag.
Police said the accused duped job aspirants of more than eight lakh rupees, promising them SPO jobs.
They further said that the accused also promised Pahalgam tent permission for Amarnath Yatra in lieu of money.
Further details are awaited as Investigation is underway, police said.
