Tahir Qazi, Chief Executive Officer of iQuasar, LLC, delivered an insightful lecture to the students of the Department of Management Studies (DMS), Central University of Kashmir (CU Kashmir), on the topic “Use AI as Your Coach to Build Skills for Career Growth” at the varsity’s Green Campus.
iQuasar, LLC, is a Sterling, Virginia-based firm that provides technology solutions and outsourcing services to government and commercial clients.
His lecture focused on the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in learning, skill development and professional growth. Qazi highlighted how AI tools can be effectively used as personal coaches to identify skill gaps, develop new competencies, improve productivity and prepare students for the evolving demands of the workplace.
Qazi emphasised that students and professionals need to engage in intentional, self-directed learning to get ready to work in their desired careers. He explained how to write AALIM prompts and agents and how to write prompts in the ACT format – Actor, Context and Task – making them easy to remember and hard to get wrong.
The session encouraged students to embrace AI not merely as a technological tool but as a continuous learning partner that can support them in achieving their academic and career goals.
The key takeaway of the interaction was: Learn, Apply, and Master!
Earlier, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, Head, DMS, introduced the guest to the students of BBA and MBA. Dr Zia Ul Haq, Associate Professor, proposed the vote of thanks. Dr Mir Insha Farooq and Dr Waseem Jehangir were also present.
