The Cricket Hub by Wasi, a premier new sports store and hub, was inaugurated with a grand opening led by former J&K Ranji team captain cricketer Samiullah Beigh and celebrated international footballer Ishfaq Ahmad, bringing together some of the most prominent names in the valley’s sporting fraternity.

The star-studded inauguration ceremony, as per a statement, also witnessed the presence of renowned first-class cricketers, including Adil Reshi and others. Their attendance underscored the united support of the local sports community for this new venture, which aims to elevate the standard of sports equipment and facilities available to athletes in the region.

The Cricket Hub by Wasi is designed to be a comprehensive one-stop destination for cricket enthusiasts, professionals, and aspiring athletes. The store will provide access to top-tier, professional-grade sporting goods, apparel, and expert advice, bridging a crucial gap for the valley’s burgeoning talent.

Speaking at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, cricketer Samiullah Beigh highlighted the importance of the new establishment. “Having a dedicated, high-quality sports hub with original players edition equipment is crucial for nurturing the immense athletic talent we have in the valley,” he said. “Initiatives like The Cricket Hub by Wasi will go a long way in providing our youth with the right resources and gear to excel on the field.”

Veteran footballer Ishfaq Ahmad echoed these sentiments, praising the initiative. “Sports have the power to unite us, and seeing the sporting fraternity come together to support this launch is truly inspiring. Providing our youth with access to quality equipment is the first step toward building future champions.”

The event concluded with the dignitaries touring the new store, exploring the equipment on display, and interacting with young sports enthusiasts and fans who had gathered to celebrate the opening.
