Srinagar, Sep 21: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced power shutdown in several parts of Kashmir division in coming days.
In a communication, Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL has informed that the Shutdown of 33 KV Pampore-BK Pora line will be observed due to which power supply to BK Pora, Khanda, Chattergam, Kenihama, Summerbugh, Shalina, Wagoora, Wadipora, Aribagh, Checkpora and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 24 & 28 September 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Budgam line will be observed due to which power supply to Budgam, Sebdan, Nasrullahpora, Jawalapora, Ompora, SIDCO, Housing Colony, Railway Station Budgam, NIFT and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 24 September 2026.
Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Airforce line will be observed due to which power supply to Peerbagh, Cooperative Colony, Jeelanabad, Hyderpora, Nadru, PHQ, Airport, Sheikhpora, Friends Colony, Humhama Heights, Tawheed Bagh and adjoining areas will be affected from 11 AM to 03 PM on 23 September 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Pohrupeth Tapline of 33 KV Handwara Hot line will be observed due to which power supply to Flour Mill and Army Camp will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 23 September 2026.
Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Badampora-Lar Tulmulla line will be observed due to which power supply to Lar, Waliwar, Watlar, Repora, Tulmulla, Dangerpora, Watlar, Theeru, Larsun and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 24 & 29 September 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Kangan Surfraw line will be observed due to which power supply to Gund, Kullan, Gagangeer, Sonamarg, Fraw, Ganiwan and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 22 September 2026.
Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Kangan Kangan line will be observed due to which power supply to Mammer, Wangath, Kangan, Akhal, Baba Nagri, Canal and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 26 September 2026, the communication reads.
