Jammu, Sep 26: Former member Governing Body All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna and former Professor and Head Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu Dr Indu Kaul Khoda on Saturday received “Atreya Varishta Chikitsa Shikshak Gaurav Samman 2024” – the highest award instituted by International Medical Sciences Academy (IMSA).
Union Minister of State with independent charge of Science and Technology, Earth Sciences, Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space Dr Jitendra Singh presented this award to her at a function in Jammu.
Among prominent veteran doctors felicitated at the first Aarogya Shikhar Samman – a medical investiture Ceremony organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Chapter of the International Medical Sciences Academy (IMSA) at Jammu also included Dr Ravinder Madan, former HoD, Gynaecology; Dr V M Sudan, Dr Yudhvir Gupta former HoD Pathology, former HoD, Orthopaedics; Dr C L Gupta, former HoD, Urology; Dr Rajender Singh, former Principal, GMC, Jammu; Dr Bella Mahaja, former HoD, Microbiology; Dr Yudveer Gupta, former HoD, Pathology, GMC Jammu and Dr R P Kudyar, former HoD, Medicine and Endocrinology and Dr Pawan Malhotra Director ASOCHAM.
