New Delhi, Nov 04: A Delhi-based company has surprised its employees with iPhone 16 smartphones as Diwali gifts, with a video of the gesture going viral on social media.
According to a report by NDTV, the company, based in Rohini, New Delhi, shared a video of its Diwali celebrations on its official Instagram account.
The 15-second clip shows iPhone 16 handsets in different colours, including white, green, blue and black, placed on employees’ desks with ribbons as part of the festive surprise.
Towards the end of the video, several women employees can be seen reacting happily to their gifts.
The company shared the clip with the caption, “No competition. Aapko kya mila?” (What did you get?), prompting a flurry of reactions from social media users.
The gesture attracted attention as many organisations traditionally give employees sweets, gift hampers or other festive items during Diwali.
The video also triggered a lively discussion in the comments section. While some users initially questioned whether the clip was genuine or AI-generated, the company responded by dismissing the speculation and insisting that the video was authentic.
Several users praised the company’s gesture, with one joking about wanting to join the organisation and asking about job vacancies. Another said watching such videos during Diwali could make employees elsewhere feel jealous.
Others joined in with humorous remarks, including one user who said they had not even received a box of soan papdi from their employer.
The video has since drawn widespread attention, with users discussing what companies should offer their employees as festive gifts.
