Four injured as vehicle carrying Amarnath pilgrims skids off road in Pahalgam

Srinagar, July 07: At least four people, including three Amarnath pilgrims from Gujarat and a local driver, sustained minor injuries after their vehicle skidded off the road near Z-Mod, Chandanwari in Pahalgam on Monday.

Officials said that a taxi bearing registration number JK03C-5073 met with an accident near the Chandanwari route when it lost control and slid off the road.

Four persons were injured and three pilgrims were identified as residents of Guzrat, while taxi driver was identified as resident of Pahalgam.

All the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, and their condition is reported to be stable, they said.

Local police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated necessary proceedings. (JKNS)
