New Delhi, June 4: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has launched its revamped Research Promotion Scheme 2025 titled *Lab to Market*, aimed at converting lab-based research into real-world products.
Launched by AICTE Chairman Prof. T.G. Sitharam, the scheme will support projects in cutting-edge fields such as AI, quantum tech, rare earths, and space. With a Rs 60 crore outlay—including Rs 10 crore for polytechnics—faculty from AICTE-approved institutions can receive up to Rs 50 lakh per project.
The portal for proposal submissions opens June 9 and closes July 31. AICTE will also offer incubation, IP support, and training to ensure market-ready innovation.
