Nagrota, Jun 3: Ajay Kumar Sadhotra Additional General Secretary of National Conference (NC) and former minister and Advocate Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President NC, along with senior party colleagues, today visited the revered Mata Kheer Bhawani Temple at Nagrota and paid obeisance to Goddess Ragnya Devi on the auspicious occasion of Jyeshtha Ashtami, a press release said.
Both the senior leaders offered prayers at the holy shrine and prayed for lasting peace, prosperity, and communal harmony in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. They extended heartfelt greetings to the Kashmiri Pandit community on this sacred occasion and appreciated their unwavering faith and resilience.
During their visit, the senior NC leaders interacted with members of the Kashmiri Pandit community who had gathered to mark the festival. They acknowledged their immense contribution to the cultural and spiritual heritage of Jammu and Kashmir and assured them of the party’s continued support.
Both the leaders also fervently prayed for the safe, honourable, and dignified return of the displaced Kashmiri Pandits to their homeland in the Valley, stating that their return is essential for the restoration of Kashmir’s pluralistic ethos.
