Srinagar, Jul 15: Aqua Kashmir Avengers FC clinched a thrilling 2-1 victory over New JK United FC in the sixth match of the Kashmir Super League 2025 on Tuesday, powered by Athwas Hyundai and supported by the J&K Sports Council.
As per a statement issued, both teams displayed exceptional skill and sportsmanship on the field. However, it was Aqua Kashmir Avengers FC who maintained their composure and capitalised on key moments to secure the win.
Sharing star performance details of the match, the Man of the Match award was given to Adnan Ayub (Aqua Kashmir Avengers FC), the Game Changer of the Match award was given to Owais Bashir (Aqua Kashmir Avengers FC), and the Golden Moments Award went to Musa Qureshi (Aqua Kashmir Avengers FC).
The match began with a formal introduction ceremony, graced by Ahsan Pardesi, MLA Amira Kadal, who appreciated the platform the league provides to young local talent and emphasised the importance of sports in building a vibrant and positive youth culture.
The felicitation ceremony was attended by Showkat Pakhtoon and Omar Majeed from Khyber Cements, who handed over the awards to the deserving players and reiterated their continued support towards the promotion of football in the region.
