Bandipora, Sep 20: The District Consultative Committee (DCC) and District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting for the first quarter ending June 2025 was held under the leadership of DDC Chairman Abdul Gani Bhat and chaired by Deputy Commissioner Indu Kanwal Chib.
During the meeting, it was reported that banks in Bandipora disbursed Rs 314 crore in Q1 against the Annual Credit Plan (ACP) target of Rs 1,411.22 crore, achieving 22% of the target. Priority sector loans accounted for Rs 148 crore (18% of target) while non-priority sector loans reached Rs 166.16 crore (29%).
DC Chib directed banks to improve credit off-take under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), achieve full coverage of Kisan Credit Cards (KCCs) with smart card issuance, and reduce case rejections and procedural delays. She also called for active participation in Jansuraksha, Re-KYC of Jan Dhan accounts, and Swachhata Hi Sewa activities.
Lead District Manager presented scheme-wise progress under PMEGP, PMFME, PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, Vishwakarma Scheme, & NRLM initiatives, along with digital banking performance and social security enrolments.
