BNI set to launch business networking chapter in Srinagar

Srinagar, Sep 30: BNI (Business Network International) is preparing to launch its first-ever chapter in Srinagar — BNI Kubri. Ahead of the formal launch, BNI J&K hosted an Expectation Setting Meeting at Radisson Collection, Riverfront Srinagar, introducing local entrepreneurs to the power of referral-based business growth.

Around 15 entrepreneurs attended the session, which marks the beginning of a 35-member core group representing sectors such as hospitality, real estate, healthcare, travel, exports, and manufacturing. This diverse mix will form the backbone of BNI Kubri, Srinagar’s first structured business networking chapter.

BNI, a 42-year-old Forbes-recognised global network, has over 3.4 lakh members across 11,300 chapters in 76 countries, generating 17.4 million referrals and 26.4 billion US dollars in business in the past year. In Jammu and Kashmir, BNI has already created a strong community of over 250 business leaders, generating more than ₹400 crore in referrals — all through trust-based networking without commissions or salaries.

Raghav Gupta, Founder and Executive Director, BNI Jammu & Kashmir, said Srinagar’s entry into the BNI ecosystem will empower local entrepreneurs to scale their businesses, connect globally, and contribute to the region’s economic growth.

Dimpi Gupta, Executive Director, added that Srinagar’s entrepreneurs have immense potential. BNI Kubri will provide them a trusted platform to collaborate, grow faster, and access markets beyond boundaries.

Raminder Paul Singh, Director, emphasised that BNI’s structured networking model, which has transformed business in Jammu, will now create a powerful business community in Srinagar.

The formal launch of BNI Kubri will mark a new era of collaborative business networking in Kashmir, connecting Srinagar’s entrepreneurs with a global ecosystem of business leaders.
