Jammu, Dec 26: The 7th edition of the Chinar Premier League, organised by Mehboob ul Alam Sports-MACC Kashmir and supported by AD Caps Anantnag Kashmir, started at M.A. Stadium Jammu.
As per a statement issued on Friday, two matches were played as per the fixture, and the first match was played between WCC Lolipora and Elegant Strikers. Batting first, WCC Lolipora scored 219 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. In reply, Elegant strikers managed only 120 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. Junaid Mushtaq was declared man of the match for his 84 runs in 54 balls.
In another match Rehari Kings defeated JK XI by 93 runs. Batting first, Rehari Kings scored 182 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. In reply, JK XI managed 89 runs only for the loss of 10 wickets (all out) in the 15th over. Vishal of Rehari Kings was declared man of the match for his 67 runs (not out).
Earlier on, at the inaugural match, Shabir Ahmad Shah, Chief Manager of CPL, Dolly Tiku Arrwal Member Sahati Academy New Delhi, Ankur Bagati Founder & Coordinator Kashmiri Pandith Premier League, Waseem Baba Chief Organizer, Zahid Farooq Organizer, Manzoor Ahmad Social Media Incharge, Rayees Ahmad Head MACC Kashmir (Pulwama), Syed Farhat Print Media Inchage & Social activist and other were present on the occasion.
