Srinagar, Apr 02: The office of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday said that he has expressed gratitude to Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for approving the Jammu and Kashmir Government’s proposal to extend the timeline of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY-I) till March 2027.
As per a post on X by the Office of the J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that the extension will play a crucial role in facilitating the completion of several important rural road projects across the Union Territory.
He noted that the decision will significantly strengthen connectivity in remote and rural areas, ensuring better access to essential services and boosting overall development in Jammu and Kashmir. (KNC)
