Srinagar, Oct 16: The Cancer Society of Kashmir (CSK) organised a breast cancer awareness programme today at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Chanapora.
A statement said that expert doctors provided detailed guidance to the audience on recognising early symptoms, adopting preventive measures, and the critical importance of timely detection for effective treatment. The session highlighted how early intervention can save lives and reduce the impact of this life-threatening disease.
Participants appreciated the initiative, noting its significance in educating students and the wider community about breast cancer.
The Cancer Society of Kashmir stated that the programme was conducted in the public interest and stressed the need for continued awareness campaigns to promote early diagnosis and care.
