Jammu, Sep 24: MP Rajya Sabha Er. Gulam Ali Khatana conducted an extensive visit to the flood-affected areas of Bamyal, Marh, Shiba, Panjali, and Bera Bali in Nagrota Constituency to assess the damage caused by recent heavy rains and flash floods.
Khatana accused the National Conference Government for failing to address crises and neglecting the constituency after the floods. He pointed out that no government officials had visited these areas until now and that no supplementary list for relief or rehabilitation has been prepared so far.
He urged the current administration to take immediate steps to bridge this gap and ensure affected families receive prompt support, said a press release.
During the visit, the MP was accompanied by the District Administration and heads of all concerned departments.
