IDBI Bank organises healthcare actvity at Govt CD Hospital

Srinagar, Oct 9: IDBI Bank organised Healthcare Outreach Programme for Everyone (HOPE) activity as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility activities, reaffirming its commitment to community welfare and sustainable development.

The initiative focused on creating healthcare awareness and providing essential medical support to the local community. Through HOPE, IDBI Bank aims to strengthen health infrastructure, promote preventive healthcare practices, and extend access to basic medical facilities for underprivileged sections of society, said a press release.

The programme witnessed active participation from IDBI Bank officials, including Branch Head Shoeb Khan( AGM) and other Srinagar branch staff Haseeb Shakeel (Manager Operations)and Ankush Sharma(RO) who interacted with beneficiaries and highlighted the importance of regular health check-ups and awareness about lifestyle-related illnesses.

Speaking at the event, a bank representative emphasised that “Healthcare is a vital pillar of social development. Through HOPE, IDBI Bank seeks to ensure that communities, especially in underserved areas, have access to better healthcare awareness and facilities.” Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the bank for its thoughtful initiative, noting that such programmes go a long way in addressing pressing healthcare needs at the grassroots level. IDBI Bank has been actively conducting CSR initiatives across education, healthcare, and community development, reinforcing its vision of being a socially responsible and people-focused financial institution.
