Awantipora, Nov 28: The Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST) and Kashmir Care Foundation (KCF) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly promote Artificial Intelligence, education, climate awareness, and innovation-led development in J&K. The agreement was formalised at the IUST campus in the presence of Vice Chancellor Prof Shakil A Romshoo and KCF President Dr Altaf Lal.
The ceremony was attended by Prof A H Moon, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof Abdul Wahid Makhdoomi, Registrar IUST, senior faculty members, officials of the university and representatives of KCF.
Prof Romshoo said the collaboration marks a significant step towards integrating emerging technologies with academic and societal growth. He expressed hope that the partnership will strengthen STEM outreach, AI and machine learning education, and foster innovation-led ecosystems for young talent in the region.
