Srinagar, Oct 20: On the occasion of Diwali, Chairman of the Jammu & Kashmir Contractors Coordination Committee (JKCCC), Ghulam Jeelani Purza, extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the rest of the country.
In his message, Jeelani Purza said, “May this Diwali strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and communal harmony in Jammu and Kashmir. Chairman Purza further emphasized that festivals like Diwali play a vital role in promoting unity and understanding among diverse communities. He said that Jammu and Kashmir has always been known for its rich tradition of mutual respect and brotherhood and such occasions reaffirm the region’s composite culture. Jeelani Purza urged everyone to share happiness with the underprivileged and spread the light of hope and compassion across society. The Executive Body and General Members of JKCCC also extended warm greetings to the people of J&K and across the nation. They collectively wished for peace, prosperity and strengthened communal harmony, urging everyone to celebrate the festival in the true spirit of inclusiveness, compassion and unity.
