JKHARA calls for tourism revival in Kashmir

JKHARA seeks better amenities for Amarnath pilgrims

Srinagar, Oct 21: The Jammu and Kashmir Hotels and Restaurant Association (JKHARA) felicitated the newly elected office bearers of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and urged the new team to play a proactive role in reviving tourism and boosting the region’s economy.

In a statement issued here, JKHARA President Babar Chowdhary said, “We heartily congratulate Javid Ahmad Tenga and his team on assuming charge of the Chamber. We have high expectations of them. Kashmir’s tourism sector needs strong support, and we hope the new KCCI leadership will actively work to promote tourism, trade, and business in the Union Territory.”

JKHARA emphasised the importance of collaboration between KCCI and the hospitality industry to ensure sustainable growth and economic development in Kashmir.
